Hi, we are Denise and Tom welcome to our blog, For the Love of Birding.
We have always loved watching birds pass through our yard, so we decided to ramp up our game and become true “birders.” Tom’s “scope” is his camera and I use a Celestron Hummingbird spotting scope. We live in Central Florida and have plenty of options for great birding sites, however, we bird wherever we travel – here in the United States and abroad. We have found birding to be an amazing way to relieve stress. Your focus turns from life’s daily issues to listening and looking for whatever species might be passing through the area. We’ve enjoyed meeting other birders and have shared information with them as well as learned from them.
Our plan for this blog is to share images and experiences of the places we’ve been to and images of the birds we have seen.
